Lithicoin

Lithicoin is the brain-child of internationally renowned lapidarist, Jared Karnes. He shares his passion of the natural world through stone-carving unique, collectible stone coins.
Artists lead to some of the most interesting projects that we can get assigned to, so when an opportunity to work with a creator at Jared’s calibre arises, we take it!
This was a single location shoot with tall ceilings, so lighting was simple. To make transitions seamless and drive the pace of transition, rotoscoping was used. We also captured reference images to make sure that the colors of the stones were accurate.

Habitat for Humanity

Everybody knows what Habitat for Humanity is. Our assignment was to capture the Rainbow Build and create social content to attract volunteers and share the passion of the community.
Community is life. That is what I believe. Sharing enjoyment and showcasing participation for a worthy cause and simultaneously showing support for the LGBTQA+ community was a bonus on top.
In production, post-production, and delivery, time is always a deciding factor. Practicing effective time-management for a quick turn around was important. There were no reshoots in this environment, which heightens the experience. Also, being equipped with noise reducing lavalier mics was important to capture the CEO’s message over the noise of hammers, drills, and effort.

A Social & Co.

We had the privilege to capture local Tucson business owner, Margarita Godiva’s idea to convert a vintage Airstream into a Hair and Makeup photo destination for weddings.
We love hearing creative ways that people apply and connect their gifts to the public and will take any chance we have to help innovative people share their ideas.
For Airstream Social & Co., Margarita provided the beauty and we provided a two-camera operation that we scaled down to be able to transport into the mountains. Location matters, and so does lighting. For this shoot, we had a bounce and a large portable diffusion panel to cut down on harsh lighting to showcase Margarita’s work.

Bondurant Racing

Mike McGovern is the lead teacher at Bondurant School of Racing. Bondurant wanted to showcase their track as well as to highlight the expertise that students can have access to.
Working with experts in niche fields is always thrilling. Whether working with a unique non-profit, a sports genius, or a racecar instructor, being around greatness lends itself to inspiration.
Coordinating drone shots with our drivers, keeping the edit short and sweet, as well as developing intro/outro animation assets that fall in line with the Bondurant brand were all important to have in mind for this project. Also, operating a manual focus lens in a passenger seat while traveling at high rates of speed was a fun challenge to overcome.
